Prenatal

As a licensed midwife in Arizona, I can offer all standard tests and/or order tests that are desired. I follow the standard schedule for prenatal visits meeting at my office. Visits usually last about an hour so we have time to educate, examine and build a relationship.

Labor and Birth

I give support in labor while waiting for the birth of your baby in your home. I am comfortable with water birth and highly encourage it. You can have present at the birth whomever you choose. Monitoring of both the mother and baby is done throughout labor and afterwards. 

Postpartum

Postpartum care for you and your baby begins immediately after birth and continues up to six weeks postpartum. After the birth I stay until both the mother and baby are stable; postpartum care includes cleaning up, examining mother and baby, assisting with nursing and filing out paperwork including the birth certificate.

Birth Pool Rental

I have an 'aqua doula' birth pool. It is used with a disposable, protective liner, has a built in heater, it is nice, deep and adequate for more than one person if desired. Rental tub fee is $100.

Placenta Encapsulation

Ingestion of your own placenta has been shown by anecdotal experience to help with nutrition, milk supply and most of all, postpartum depression. My fee is $100 to do the process of encapsulation. Click here to learn how to do it yourself.

Barter

I am always willing to barter gold or silver bullion. I am at times willing to barter for other services or goods as well. Please let me know if you have anything you would like to consider bartering and we can discuss it further.
